I strongly believe that mental healthcare relies on a culture of acceptance and openness. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, it is my goal to advocate for patients who struggle to be heard or respected, and to manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, and attention to holistic care. I strive to coordinate and create collaborative relationships with therapists, primary care and other specialists to provide comprehensive care and support.

I have been in nursing for over 22 years. I have worked in multiple settings, both inpatient and outpatient. My path in nursing has not been a straight line, but every experience that put me on this path has shaped my passion and dedication to psychiatric nursing.

I strive to foster a safe, empathetic environment. Each patient is unique, and no one has the same path to healing and wellness. I work with each patient to develop an individualized plan of care that best suits where you are in your mental health journey.

Jessa is available to see patients ages five and up. Both in person and Telehealth Appointments available by appointment only. Often able to accommodate a new appointment within 1-2 weeks.
